Theo attends the Skills Show

Theo is Patron of the Skills Show and has been for the last four years and in November he attended the annual event which hosts over 100,000 people over the course of 3 days!

The Skills Show is the nation’s largest skills and careers event that helps to shape the future of a new generation. Theo attended the event which enabled the attendees to:

• Try out careers for size – you can ‘Have a Go’ at a huge range of job-related skills, everything from web design, plumbing, TV production and forensic science to telecommunications, and much more.

• Speak to employers about the opportunities they have available – and find out what they have for you. IBM, Jaguar Landrover, NHS Careers, Crossrail and Toyota are just a few of the big employers you can meet.

• Get careers advice from the professionals – get CV and interview tips and turn your interests into a career path.

Theo said of the event “get yourself down here — it’s the most amazing inspirational event where you’ve got hundreds of employers, hundreds of opportunities to try things and hundreds of careers that you probably didn’t even know existed. If you want to be inspired about your future or are wondering ‘what am I going to do with my future’, then get down to the Skills Show. You might just see the beginning of a great career path!”
