Theo receives his Honorary Doctorate from Staffordshire University

On the morning of Wednesday 13th July, Theo joined Staffordshire’s University’s Business graduates at the graduation ceremony at Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire.  Theo was being honoured for his services to business and enterprise in the UK, and for his work as an ambassador for the National Enterprise Challenge, launched in Staffordshire in 2014.

Across the week, ceremonies saw over 3,000 students graduate from their various faculties, with over 500 from the business school.

In his acceptance speech, Theo gave advice to the graduating students: “The harder you work, the luckier you get!”, encouraging them to not go into business on a “level-playing field” and to “know more about your business than your competitors.”
