As a director of Comic Relief, Theo was looking for a special challenge this year to raise even more money as part of the Ryman and Robert Dyas partner target. So, on March 2nd-4th, Theo pulled on his walking boots, along with CEO Kypros Kyprianou and a whole team of trekkers and took the Pennine Way challenge, all to raise £50,000 for Comic Relief.
Setting off on Thursday 2nd March, Theo and the team, including dogs Gladys and George, faced rain and sleet, as well as wading through mud and bogs, clocking up over 42 miles across the 3 days.
Their Fitbits showed them that at the end of the tough challenge the team had each walked over 96,000 steps and 349 floors – the equivalent of walking up the Empire State Building nearly 4 times, but without battling the elements at the same time.
There’s still time to support the team’s efforts, and donate right here
Ryman and Robert Dyas are partners of Comic Relief and Red Nose Day this year is on March 24th 2017.
