At last, we now have the opportunity to get a leader that is capable of governing. Out of chaos often comes opportunity, and as the to-do list is long and urgent, the job requires a serious candidate who will deliver.

It’s been 10 years since I left Dragons’ Den and despite going back to cover dragon absences several times, it still seems like yesterday. During my time out of the den, I’ve had the benefit of being able to unpack first-hand the profound impact the show has had - and continues to have - on its viewers since its launch in 2005.

I have spoken on the subject of being careful not to view statistics as black and white several times, since the first Gender Pay Gap data was released in 2018. We must continue to be aware that statistics are not always black and white and there is a danger in viewing them as such.
