The LGC x Theo Paphitis Art Prize is back - bigger, bolder, and ready to spotlight the UK’s most exciting artistic voices
London Graphic Centre (LGC) is thrilled to announce the return of the LGC Art Prize, proudly supported by retail entrepreneur and TV dragon, Theo Paphitis. Initially launched in 2022, the LGC x Theo Paphitis Art Prize is now in its fourth year and has returned this May.
This free initiative provides an exceptional platform for UK creatives to display their artwork and achieve national recognition. Artists can win various prizes, including cash, art supplies, and vouchers valued over £12,000! Entry is open to all - whether you’re a student, self-taught, or an established artist, this is your chance for your work to be seen.
The 2025 LGC Art Prize differs from previous years in that there is no set theme. Instead, this is simply an opportunity to bolster bold artistic voices and fresh perspectives. The prize represents far more than a competition; it is a space for artists to share their work, connect with a wider creative community, and step into the spotlight.

All artists 18+ welcome
2-dimensional artwork in any painting, drawing, or print media

Retail Entrepreneur & LGC Chairman Theo Paphitis said: “Recognising UK artists is essential, as creativity is a gift which deserves investment and support ! The LGC Art Prize is a personal highlight of my annual calendar and a fantastic opportunity for budding creatives to gain connections, showcase their talent, and connect with a wider community of artists. I am consistently blown away by the skill of our applicants and look forward to seeing this year's entries"
The competition is free to enter and opens on Monday 19th May, with submissions closing on Friday 30th June. The winners will be announced at an exclusive awards evening in September.
