Theo Paphitis Headlines Retail Technology Show 2025 at ExCeL London

Theo Paphitis Headlined the 2025 Retail Technology Show at the ExCeL Centre.

In April, the Retail Technology Show (RTS) welcomed over 15,000 retail professionals to London for Europe’s premier event dedicated to innovation and digital transformation in retail. This year’s show brought together retailers and leading technology innovators in an exploration of the future of the industry.

Theo was invited as a headline keynote speaker at the event. Bringing over forty years of retail experience, Theo shared valuable insights from his journey leading the Theo Paphitis Retail Group - which includes iconic high street names such as Ryman, Ryman Design, Robert Dyas, Boux Avenue and London Graphic Centre. He discussed strategies for building successful retail businesses even in challenging market conditions, as well as emphasising the importance of passion, leadership and workforce engagement.

Retail Entrepreneur, Owner & Chairman - Ryman, Robert Dyas & Boux Avenue and Small Business Champion: “Thanks to the Retail Technology Show for having me on the final day of their event at Excel London. There was a fantastic buzz and energy in the room, and it was good to have a chin-wag with Kate Hardcastle and even take a few Qs from the audience. We covered everything from business rates to AI to the importance of a reason to exist and even what's in my loft ! Well done to the team on a great event.”

During a fireside chat on stage alongside Customer Whisperer Kate Hardcastle, Theo delved into key approaches for nurturing engaged and motivated teams. Attendees benefited from his unique perspectives on retail revival, long term growth and entrepreneurship, all drawn from his distinguished career rejuvenating well known brands and championing small businesses through initiatives like #SBS Small Business Sunday.

The Retail Technology Show 2025 also featured thought leaders such as M&S Chairman Archie Norman and former Gymshark CEO Steve Hewitt, spotlighting critical industry topics shaping the future of retail.
